So I’m sitting here anxiously, having just launched the website, created and shared the Facebook page and linked up my Instagram for Cake Tourettes. It’s all rather exciting so I thought I’d better sit down and have a cupcake to calm myself before bed.
I really hope some of you were intrigued enough to make it as far as this blog post ☺️ support so far from friends and family has been wonderful! Special thanks to my clever husband for creating this lovely website amongst other things.

So Valentines Day is around the corner and I have been dreaming up lots of designs and flavour combos ready for Cupid and his love quest.
I’m always open to suggestions and requests so what is Valentine’s Day to you? Is it the familiar love hearts, various shades of rouge and pink, sweet smelling flowers and perhaps even some cheeky undergarments? No problem, we’ve got you covered.
Or maybe, like me, you’re more of a cynic. Maybe you don’t buy into the more traditionalist stuff, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still make someone feel special. Check out the #Caketourettes Combo in our Menu- I think this could be just the thing for you.

Ever wondered what started Valentines Day? I did, so I googled it as one does when one wants an instant answer. The most popular theory is that 3rd Century Emperor Claudius II didn't want Roman men to marry during wartime. Bishop Valentine went against his wishes and performed secret weddings. For this, Valentine was jailed and executed.

Whilst in jail he wrote a note to the jailor's daughter signing it "from your Valentine". #lad
